RULES

A NEW GENERATION MATCH CONSISTS OF A DETERMINED NUMBER OF TWO-MINUTE ROUNDS, A TOTAL OFUP 4 ROUNDS. THE FIGHT IS CONTROLLED BY A REFEREE WHO WORKS WITHIN THE RING TO JUDGE AND CONTROL THE CONDUCT OF THE FIGHTERS, RULE ON THEIR ABILITY TO FIGHT SAFELY, COUNT KNOCKED-DOWN FIGHTERS, AND RULE ON FOULS.

 

- Each fighters enters the ring from their assigned corners at the beginning of each round and must cease fighting and return to their corner at the signed end of each round.

-The referee is respected from the beginning of the match to the end.

-Fighting is done with the New Generations Fights Promotion gloves (similar to MMA gloves)

-The match can end by Knockout, technical knockout decision, disqualification, draw or no contest.

-Both the referee and the ring doctor have full authority to stop the fight.

-The fight is scored by three judges on a ten-point system (The winner of each round receives ten points, and the loser receives nine or less. If the round is even, both competitors receive ten points.

-If there is a draw after four rounds, the judeges' scores are thrown out and one extra two-minute round is contested. The judges' decision will then com from the scoring of the extra round only. If, after the extra round, there is still a draw, the judges will decide a winner based on the flow of the entire match, considering even the slightest difference. A fight can only end in a draw if both fighters go down at the same time and cannot get up, or in the case of a accidental injury in the late stage of the contest.

-Three knockdowns in a round will end the contest, declared a technical knockdown.

-Boxing techniques jab, cross, hook to the opponent's head and upper body are permitted.

-Backhand strikes on the turn to the opponent's head and body are permitted.

-All leg techniques to the head, torso and legs of the opponent are permitted.

-Knee strikes to the head, torso and legs of the opponent are permitted.

-Catching/holding the leg techniques of the opponent with counter techniques (5 seconds) are permitted.

-The fight must be intense, 5 seconds between an action to another.

FOULS

-Using the head or elbow to deliver a blow

-Gouging or poking the eyes

-Clinch

-Attacking the opponent in the groin

-Delivering wrestling or judo throwing or submission techniques

-Thumbing , chocking or biting the opponent

-Punching the opponent in the throat

-Attacking the opponent while he is down or in the process of getting up

-Attacking the opponent after the referee calls break

-Using offensive language to the referee

-Attacking the back of the head with a punch

-Voluntarily exiting the ring during the course of a match

-Attacking an opponent who turns around and shows his back (if the opponent loses his will to fight)

-Fighting in passive manner (without attacking), including continuous holding
